Enpass browser extension set-up and basics

You can access Enpass features and functions while surfing the web, and login anywhere with a single click, by adding the Enpass extension to your browser.

Setting up Enpass in your browser

1. Install the Enpass browser extension

   • Visit the Enpass download page to find and install the correct extension for your browser, and follow the steps provided (each browser is different)

2. Connect the browser extension to your Enpass app

   • So it can access your Enpass data and autofill your user names, passwords and other information on the websites you use

3. Customize the Enpass experience in your browser

   • Set Enpass as your default password and passkey manager, and customize autofill settings and keyboard shortcuts

Using Enpass in your browser

• Capture and save login credentials

  • Use Enpass to automatically save passwords and passkeys for accounts created in your browser, and update your saved items when existing accounts are updated

• Autofill login fields and other forms

  • Use Enpass to automatically log you in by submitting your credentials and passkeys, credit card details, identities, and web forms

• Generate and change passwords

  • Use Enpass to generate strong and secure passwords for your accounts, and update your Items in Enpass automatically you make changes to your credentials
