Managing Admin Accounts

The Enpass Admin Console gives you full control over who can administer your organization's Enpass deployment. This section covers everything you need to know about setting up, securing, and managing your admin team.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a Super Admin to add, edit, or remove admins. Standard Admins do not have access to Admin Management settings.

Adding an Admin

You can add an admin whether or not they already have a user account in your organization. If they don't, the Add Admin flow lets you create their user account in the same step — no need to go to Managing Users first.

  1. In the Admin Console, navigate to Settings > Admin Management.

  2. Click Add Admin.

  3. Enter the user's email address.

    • If a matching user already exists, select them from the dropdown. If not, you'll see "No user found with this email" along with an option to add them as a new user.

  4. If the email doesn't match an existing user, select Add "[email]" as a new user.

    • This expands the form to include a Name field and an Assign License checkbox.

  5. Enter the user's name (if prompted) and confirm whether to assign a license.

  6. Select one or more admin roles for the user.

  7. Click Add Admin to confirm.

Editing an Admin

You can change an admin's role or permissions at any time from the Admin Management section.

  1. In the Admin Console, navigate to Settings > Admin Management.

  2. Click next to the admin you want to update and select Edit.

  3. Update their role or permissions as needed and save your changes.

Removing an Admin

Removing an admin revokes their access to the Admin Console but does not delete them as a user in your organization.

  1. In the Admin Console, navigate to Settings > Admin Management.

  2. Click next to the admin you want to remove and select Remove.

  3. Confirm the removal.
