Adding Items to your vault

Adding Items & capturing login credentials in Enpass

Enpass offers dozens of templates that can be used to create new Items, and the Enpass browser extension can capture credentials from the websites you login to.

Enpass Item forms are fully customizable. You can rearrange, rename, or add or remove fields to fit your needs. You can also create your own templates and your own categories.

To add new Items in the Enpass app:

  1. Click or tap the ICON-UI-add-plus.svg button to create a new Item.

  2. If you have more than one vault, select a vault for your new template.

  3. Select a category and choose a template to use for your new Item.

  4. Fill in your details in the form, and click Save.

To add new Items by capturing your login credentials from a website:

  1. Login to a site as usual, and the extension’s Add Item screen will pop up to create a new Item with the credentials you’ve filled in.

  2. If you have multiple Enpass vaults, select your desired vault from the drop-down.

  3. Confirm (or correct) the information Enpass has auto-filled, and add a tag if desired.

  4. To add more details, click the Show More button for more fields.

  5. Click Save to add this new Item to your Enpass vault.
