Before connecting Datadog to Enpass in the Admin Console, you need to generate a Datadog API key to authenticate the log ingestion. Follow the steps below, then return to Integrate with SIEM Tools to complete the integration.
Step 1: Generate a Datadog API Key
-
Log in to your Datadog Dashboard.
-
Navigate to Organization Settings > API Keys.
-
Click New Key.
-
Enter a descriptive name for the key (e.g.,
Enpass Event Logs Integration). -
Click Create Key.
-
Copy and securely store the generated API key. You will need it when configuring the integration in the Enpass Admin Console.
⚠️ You will not be able to view this key again after leaving the page. If you lose it, you will need to generate a new one.
Step 2: Note Your Datadog Log Ingestion URL
Datadog's log ingestion endpoint varies by region. Use the endpoint that matches your Datadog site:
|
Datadog Site |
Log Ingestion URL |
|---|---|
|
US1 (default) |
|
|
US3 |
|
|
EU1 |
|
When configuring the integration in Enpass, use DD-API-KEY as the Header Name and your generated API key as the Token Value.
Next Step
Return to Integrate with SIEM Tools | Other SIEM Tools (Webhook / JSON) to complete the integration in the Enpass Admin Console.
